FloraFiles is a mobile app that identifies plants from photos using AI, lets you maintain a personal life list of species you've identified, and offers themed collection challenges.

When you first open the app, we create an anonymous account so your data can sync. You are responsible for keeping access to your device, since that's currently how you access your account.

FloraFiles offers two subscription plans:

• Annual — $39.99/year with a 7-day free trial
• Weekly — $6.99/week with a 3-day free trial

Subscriptions are billed by Apple via your Apple ID and auto-renew at the listed price each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID Subscriptions settings on your device. Refunds are handled by Apple under their refund policy.

You can:

• Use the app for your own personal plant identification and collection
• Share your discovery cards on social media — that's the point
• Take as many photos as you want, subject to a generous daily rate limit to prevent abuse

You can't:

• Resell or commercialize the identifications without permission
• Use the app to harvest data about rare or protected plants in a way that could enable poaching
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, subscriptions, or extract API keys
• Use the app in a way that violates any law

Plant identification is performed by AI. It is generally accurate but not perfect. Do not rely on FloraFiles for any decision that could affect your health or safety — in particular:

• Never eat wild mushrooms based on FloraFiles identification alone. Mushroom ID by photo is unreliable. Always verify with an expert mycologist.
• Do not use FloraFiles to identify plants for medicinal, edible, or other consumption purposes without independent expert verification.
• Some plants are toxic. Touching unidentified plants is at your own risk.

FloraFiles is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to misidentifications, harvested rare plants, or eaten poisonous lookalikes.

We may suspend or terminate access to FloraFiles at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the app at any time. Subscription rules above continue to apply.

If we change these terms materially, we'll update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify you in-app. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
